Description for Letters of Support:

Letters of support can come from clients, suppliers, associated businesses, non-profit organizations, community groups, government or individuals. Letters of support from inside the business (employees, managers, etc.) are not accepted.

It is a good idea to have the letters come from individuals or groups who can testify first-hand to the impact of company’s performance and actions relating to their category of application.

Questions for guiding letters of support:

Do the letters provide details and examples of the company’s or individual’s programs or initiatives contributed to an outstanding performance in the category for which they are applying i.e. Community Care, Environmental Excellence, Overall Leadership in Corporate Responsibility (CR), or Individual Impact in CR?
