After more than a decade of recognizing the outstanding contributions of businesses and business leaders through the Ethics in Action Awards, this year we want to celebrate all of you once again --and share an evening of conversation about how we can move environmentally and socially sustainable business forward in the decade ahead.

On Thursday, November 8th, 2007, businesses and business leaders who are past EIA award finalists and recipients will come together for an evening of networking, celebration and dialogue. At this, the first Ethics in Action All Star Forum, we will recognize past EIA award honourees, and engage  these and other businesses and individuals in meaningful discussions about the challenges and opportunities associated with working toward social and environmental sustainability in business today.

The aim for the 2007 Forum is to gather EIA alumni to share information about the progress and roadblocks they encounter in working toward sustainability in business, while celebrating all those making this commitment. This year we also introduce social enterprise and provide an opportunity for not-for-profits (NFP), business, and community members to explore this emerging NFP-business hybrid model.

Linda Coady, VANOC

We are pleased to announce Linda Coady, VP Sustainability, VANOC will deliver the keynote address at the 2007 EIA All Star Forum. Linda was 2001 Ethics Action Award recipient for her individual leadership when serving as VP of Environmental Enterprise, Weyhauser. Visit Linda Coady's profile
